Nigerian singer Michael Adebayo Olayinka, popularly known as Ruger, has taken a swipe at Nigerian men for their fascination with IJGB (I Just Got Back) ladies visiting the country for the festive season.

With December in full swing, many Nigerians living abroad have returned home to enjoy the holidays, leading to an influx of foreign accents, particularly in Lagos. However, Ruger seems unimpressed by the attention these ladies are receiving from local men.

Taking to Snapchat, the music star expressed his thoughts on the matter, criticizing Nigerian men for losing composure over the accents of these returnees, regardless of their looks.

In his words:

“Naija boys dey lose composure once they hear IJGB girl accent whether they fine or not.

They’re here pretending to be top-tier babes coz the boys in their country don’t rate them. Be wise. Don’t waste your money trying to impress them.”
