BBNaija star, Rico Swavey laid to rest amid tears, tributes

The preacher at the funeral service at the Methodist Church of the Trinity in Tinubu Square, while consoling the grieving family, said that "the Lord giveth and the Lord taketh" in his sermon.

After being involved in a horrifying car accident that left him on life support from Tuesday, October 11–Thursday, October 13, 2022, the season 3 housemate passed away at the age of 30.

Family members and friends were unable to contain their tears as Swavey was buried at the Ebony Vaults in Ikoyi, Lagos.

The burial was attended by a majority of BBNaija stars like Alex Unusual, Uriel Oputa, Efe Money, Ifu Ennada, K Brule, BamBam, Dorathy and the BBNaija show host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu.
