Manchester United midfielder, Paul Pogba, has responded to his manager, Jose Mourinho, calling him “virus” over the weekend.
Recall that Mourinho called Pogba a virus following their 2-2 draw with Southampton on Sunday.
According to The Times, Pogba hit back at the lack of options in the midfield during Southampton clash, and said he had no-one to pass to because Mourinho’s tactics do not allow players to move freely around him.
The report claimed that the France international did not react angrily to Mourinho’s criticism and delivered his own critique in a calm manner, with the disagreement never getting out of hand.
Pogba will hope to lead United to victory when they tackle Arsenal on Wednesday in the Premier League fixture.
The Red Devils currently occupy the seventh position on the Premier League table with 22 points from 14 games.
