2023: I wouldn't Resign - Ngige
Despite calls from different quarters for some appointed ministers to resign before contesting the APC primary election slated for next month, the Minister for Labour and productivity, Chris Ngige has said that he wouldn't be resigning from his position.
Ngige said he has not received any official letter from the party and that it would be unnecessary for him to resign before contesting.
The former Anambra Governor said that there is a court proceeding on the controversial section of the newly signed electoral act, and until the court case is settled, a decision should be taken from it.
Ngige is one of the over 15 presidential aspirants from the APC.
