The All Progressives Congress' youth wing in Osun State claims that Mr.
Rauf Aregbesola, the interior minister, is working against Bola Tinubu's campaign for president in the state.
In a press conference with journalists on Wednesday in Osogbo, the state capital, APC Youth Leader Goke Akinwemimo informed the party's national leader that the Minister had left the APC.
Nevertheless, Akinwemimo expressed confidence that the Minister and his supporters would fail in their attempt to ruin the party in the upcoming general elections.
Aregbesola and his allies have left the APC, he declared, and "We are saying this to alert the national leadership of our dear party."
In addition to the fact that their prior actions have demonstrated that they are supporting the opposition, they are equally determined to ensure that we lose other upcoming elections, including the presidential election.
They are out to spell doom for our party. But we are prepared to resist them, and they will not succeed”.
Naijacrawl reports that Aregbesola, who recently had a face-off with the former Lagos State Governor, had also been fingered in the failure of the party to win the July governorship election.
