However today, a new group called Ibom People Congress posted a video where their representative named Nyong Nyong was briefing the public about the formal submission of the IBOM REPUBLIC at the United Nations headquarters in USA.
The Ibom REPUBLIC will comprise the oil rich region of the southern part of the country.
With this declaration, it is now obvious that there is now a hindrance for the actualisation of the Niger Delta republic since one of the notable state in the region wants her own independence. Watch the video here
