Benue North-East Senatorial District: Tribunal Sacks Emmanuel Udende of the All Progressives Congress (APC), and returns Gabriel Suswam of the Peoples Democratic Party
On February 27, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) had announced Emmanuel Udende Tordwem polled 141,405 votes to beat Gabriel Suswam, a former Governor, who garnered 103,303 votes.
Udende was a former House of Representatives member for Kastina-Ala.
The Senatorial Zone comprises seven (7) LGAs: Ukum, Konshisha, Katsina-Ala, Logo, Kwande, Ushongo & Vandeikya LGAs.
