In a major relief for consumers, Dangote Refinery has reduced the price of automotive gas oil (diesel) to N1,020 per litre, down from N1,075—a N55 price slash.
Confirming the development in an exclusive interview with DAILY POST on Tuesday, Dangote Group spokesperson, Anthony Chiejina, stated:
"Yes, we have reduced the price of our diesel."
Since beginning diesel production in January 2024, Dangote Refinery has consistently lowered prices, dropping from an initial N1,700 per litre to the current rate.
This price reduction is expected to ease operational costs for businesses and transporters, making fuel more affordable amid fluctuating market conditions.
