The DSS officers alleged for beaten a police officer identified as Corporal FAWALE RAUF of Dada Estate Police Station, Osogbo to coma last week and the victim has given up yesterday.

The reports narrated that, it was three (3) DSS officers that beat late Corporal FAWALE RAUF to coma last week. Late Fawale was hospitalised and he was on artificial oxygen for breathing for almost a week before his demise two days ago.

Corporal FAWALE RAUF originated from Ilobu in the State of Osun, Southwest, Nigeria.

World Institute for Peace hereby calls on Inspector General of Police and the Director-General of DSS to take the culprits to book.

The group confirmed that it was the deceased family that reported the case to them after the demise of the late corporal today as they need supports from human rights activists, Nigeria government and the general populace.
