Naijacrawl can authoritatively confirm the death of Hajiya Jummai Alhassan, former Minister of Women Affairs ( Mama Taraba) in Cairo, Egypt.



The former minister resigned in 2018 after her boss; Atiku Abubakar left the ruling party then, she contested for the post of Taraba state governor in 2015 but was defeated by the candidate of the PDP, however, a tribunal court gave her a shortlived hope by declaring her the winner, however, the judgement was later overturned by a higher court.

May her soul rest in peace.
