Asiwaju Bola Tinubu, the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, has stated that he has the right to choose his running partner.
His decision to run for vice president, he claims, is based on his financial situation.
There has been discussion over who Tinubu will choose following his victory in the APC presidential primary poll.
Tinubu was requested to divulge his political leanings after meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari at the State House on Thursday.
"I'm not going to tell you that."
"That is my right; it is in my purse," said the former Lagos Governor.
Tinubu, who received 1,271 votes to defeat 13 other candidates in the presidential primaries, also thanked Buhari for not "tinkering" with the process.
