A man, Olushola Olatunde, has found himself in serious trouble after breaking into a church and stealing items valued at over a million naira.

The shocking incident, which unfolded in Akure, Ondo State, has left many stunned, especially considering the actions taken by the church management afterward.

The theft occurred in December 2024, when Olushola targeted the Revelation of God Miracle Church, located at No. 17 Plaza Road, Isolo, Akure. He reportedly stole the church's tithe box, a 16-channel live series audio mixer, a public address system, and other valuable items, all worth a staggering ₦1,340,900. However, luck was not on his side as he was caught red-handed and handed over to law enforcement.

Further investigations revealed that Olushola didn’t stop at just one church. On the same day, he also broke into the Garden of Faith Church on No. 7 Ore-Ofe Street, Oke Ijebu, Akure, where he stole items valued at over ₦500,000.

As if that wasn’t enough, a few days later, he struck again—this time stealing 33 bags of cement from the popular Shasha Market along Owo Express Road, Akure. But nemesis finally caught up with him, and he was apprehended by the police.

The Ondo State Magistrate Court, sitting in Akure, has since delivered its judgment on the case, sending a clear message about the consequences of such criminal actions.

The story has sparked conversations about forgiveness, justice, and the actions taken by the affected churches. Stay tuned for updates on this case and the fate of Olushola Olatunde.
