Nigerian arrested again in India for fraud.
Nigerians are at it again with being connected with crimes in foreign countries. This one happened in far away India, a Nigerian man identified as Nonso George Okafor has been arrested by the India cyber crime cell for allegedly duping several women of their hard earned money while posing as a wealthy foreigner.
According to reports, the suspect use to chat with the women for weeks and months promising them of marriage and comfortable life thereby duping them of their money and some valuable assets.
Okafor usually targets women within the age of 30, single women and some disabled ones. He will first pretend to send gifts to you and direct you on where and how to pick the gift of which the women will later receive a call claiming to be from the customs office and would be told to pay a certain amount before they can be able to collect the package of which they will fall for the trick and pay money into a certain account which the culprit will take and disappear.
The suspect normally changes identity, he poses as engineer, doctor or fashion designer on the different occasions that the crime was carried out.
The India cyber crime cell department after nabbing the man assured that the law will take its course.

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission has arrested former speaker of the House of Representatives, Patricia Olubunmi Etteh.Etteh, who is presently being grilled by EFCC’s special duties unit was alleged to be involved in a solar power electrification scam in Akwa Ibom State.It is important to note that Etteh was the first female house of representatives speaker, but she was removed in 2007 based on allegation of corruption.
