Presiding over the case, Judge Malam Abubakar Sadiq made this decision after carefully considering the defendant's plea. Okoye, a resident of 2A Niger Avenue Villa Nova, Apo, faces charges of criminal conspiracy, intimidation, force, assault, and causing hurt, stemming from the alleged incident.

Despite the array of charges against him, Okoye entered a plea of not guilty during the court proceedings. The prosecutor, O.S. Osho, informed the court that the landlord, Mr. Ochengele Isaac, reported the incident to the Apo Police Station on January 3.

According to Osho, the defendant, along with his two children and another individual named Gideon (who is currently at large), physically assaulted the landlord, resulting in injuries. Notably, the whereabouts of the defendant's two children and Gideon remain unknown.

In light of the circumstances, Judge Sadiq adjourned the case until January 16 for further proceedings and a thorough examination of the details surrounding this alleged assault on a landlord.
