The Nigeria Police Force has apprehended Bolaji Idowu, the founder of Harvesters International Christian Centre, over allegations of real estate fraud and money laundering.
Sources disclosed that Idowu is currently being questioned at the Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) in Abuja. The investigation stems from claims of financial misconduct tied to his activities.
Since establishing Harvesters in 2003, Idowu has become a well-known figure in ministry, recognized for his impactful sermons and community outreach programs. However, the allegations against him have cast a shadow over his work as details about the case continue to emerge.
One insider revealed, “The Next Level Prayer Conference pastor, Bolaji Idowu, is under arrest and is being grilled in Abuja over allegations of real estate fraud and money laundering.” Another confirmed, “He is at the FCID Abuja as we speak.”
Attempts to get comments from the FCT police spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, and Force spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, were unsuccessful as of the time of reporting.
