Friends of Sokoto State Governor Aminu Tambuwal, led by Olumuyiwa Akinboro, have purchased Expressions of Interest and Nomination forms for the governor to run for president on the Peoples Democratic Party platform in 2023.
(PDP).
Mr. Tambuwal's humility and intelligence accumulated over almost three decades, according to Mr. Akinboro, qualify him to lead the country.
"We've all known Tambuwal for 30 years, and nothing has changed about him." He's modest, attentive, and knowledgeable. People wonder if he has the financial means to follow his goals. That is why we have come to purchase this form on his behalf. Mr. Akinboro stated, "He is unaware, but as professionals and apolitical, we want him to lead."
Mr. Akinboro reiterates Mr. Tambuwal's earlier stance against zoning as the PDP debates whether or not to continue to adopt the zoning scheme.
"I'm providing you with this analysis so that, as party leaders, we can work together to win the election, not zoning, not winning tickets." Yes, we may share tickets, and each person can take his or her portion and proceed to his or her designated zone. However, you must make preparations in order to win the election. That is the truth of the situation. It isn't the work of anyone. I didn't force myself to leave Sokoto. "No, it's God," says the narrator. As a result, as a party, we must embrace these realities and work with them to win the election. After that, we can say, "OK, let's split the power." First and foremost, win the election.
First and foremost, win the election. Don't let zoning get the best of you! "We'll come in and share power if we win the election," Mr. Tambuwal said on Tuesday.
Mr. Akinboro, reiterating Mr. Tambuwal's statement, claims that their preferred candidate has a home in every area of the country, regardless of zoning, and that, if given the chance, might be the best candidate for the PDP's presidential bid in 2023.
"In terms of zoning, we believe Tambuwal is a Nigerian native who is comfortable in all sections of the country. Look at us: we've got Yorubas, Igbos, and Ibibios, and we're telling the PDP to put their best foot forward. We don't have any money bags, as you can see, but we'll use what we do have for him.
"You have an excellent chance of winning this election, PDP." This election will be decided by ordinary Nigerians, and we are among them," Mr. Akinboro stated.
