The vibrant and youthful ruler of Ubulu Uku kingdom, 25-year-old Obi Chukwuka Noah Akaeze, has made a triumphant return to his homeland after completing his studies abroad.

A joyous reception awaited the Obi as he touched down at the Asaba International Airport on Thursday. Thousands of his people flocked to the airport, exuberantly expressing their happiness at his return.

Among those present to welcome the Obi back home were the Commissioner for Technical Education, Hon Joan Onyemaechi, and the Senior Special Assistant on Youth Mobilization to the Delta State Governor, Hon James Onwordi Endurance, popularly known as Ibori Ubulu. Both officials, along with others, hailed the Obi's return as a blessing to the Ubulu Uku kingdom.

They emphasized that the celebration was a testament to the community's deep love and appreciation for the Obi, acknowledging his positive impact on the kingdom.

In response, the Obi expressed his gratitude to the people of Ubulu Uku for their overwhelming support. He pledged to steadfastly protect the interests of the kingdom and recognized the crucial role played by both the immediate past governor of Delta State, Sen Ifeanyi Okowa, and the current governor, Rt Hon Sheriff Oborevwori, in supporting him over the years.

Obi Chukwuka Noah Akaeze ascended to the throne of Ubulu-Uku kingdom at the tender age of 18 in 2016, following the tragic murder of his father, the late king. After receiving the staff of Office from the Delta State government, he embarked on a journey abroad to pursue his education, driven by his passion for learning.

Now, after eight years of enriching his knowledge and experiences, the Obi has returned to lead and serve his people. Ubulu-Uku, nestled in the Aniocha South Local Government area of Delta State, continues to thrive under the reign of its youthful and dynamic monarch.
