Lucy, a woman reported missing on January 5, was tragically found dead in her apartment on NNPC Road, Asaba, Delta State's capital.

The heartbreaking discovery was revealed in a Facebook post on Monday by Harrison Gwamnishu, the Senior Special Assistant on Civil Society and Youth Mobilisation to the Delta State Governor. Gwamnishu detailed how a colleague from Lucy's workplace made the shocking find.

Concern grew among Lucy's coworkers when she failed to report to work for days without any explanation. Alarmed by her unexplained absence, her employer sent a representative to check on her at home.

Upon reaching her residence, the coworker found the door locked and, unable to gain access, decided to peer through the window. To their horror, they saw Lucy's lifeless body inside. The shocking sight prompted the colleague to raise an alarm, drawing a crowd of neighbors and sparking further investigation into the circumstances of her death.

This tragic incident has left the community in shock, with many questioning the events leading to Lucy's untimely demise. Authorities are expected to delve deeper into the case as they work to uncover the truth behind this heartbreaking situation.
