Yesterday at the parliamentary sitting of the Niger state house of Assembly, the Deputy Speaker of the Niger House of Assembly, Bako Kasim Alfa voluntarily tendered his resignation letter, which was accepted and read by the speaker to the whole house.



Though, Hon. Alfa, did not disclosed the reasons for his decision to resign from his post before he made the announcement during the plenary session on Thursday.

Sequl to that, the Speaker of the House read his resignation letter which he submitted and was unanimously accepted by the house.

In the meantime, he has also been replaced by Hon. Jibrin Ndagi Baba, the lawmaker representing Lavun constituency.
