As the global pandemc continues to ravage football players these days, eleven Ajax players have now been tested positive for coronavirus one day before the club’s Champions League game against FC Midtjylland.



It will be noted that Ajax beate their Eredivise counterpart 13-0 some weeks ago and four out of the 11 players were key player in that match.

As a result, only 17 Ajax players will travel to Denmark for the group-stage clash.

Ajax travels with seventeen players to Denmark for the duel with FC Midtjylland. Kjell Scherpen and Brian Brobbey, among others, will be present.

There is a press conference on Monday at 6:45 PM, where Erik ten Hag and Perr Schuurs will speak to the media. FC Midtjylland - Ajax starts on Tuesday evening at 9 p.m.
