KAA Gent forward Gift Orban will be invited for the Super Eagles 2023 Africa Cup of Nations qualifying fixture against the Leone Stars of Sierra Leone next month, the Daily Post reports.
The Super Eagles will take on John Keister’s men at a yet-to-be-named venue on June 18.
Orban, the Daily Post learned, is among the players already penciled in by head coach Jose Peseiro for the game.
The 20-year-old has been in sensational form since his arrival at Gent in January.
The young striker has scored 19 goals and registered two assists in 19 games across all competitions for the club.
Orban scored 18 goals in 23 games for Stabaek in the Norwegian second tier before moving to Gent.
The Super Eagles need just a point against Sierra Leone to book a spot in Cote d'Ivoire in 2023.
