Anthony Joshua and WBC champion Tyson Fury's fight has been called off, according to Fury.
He asserts that this occurred as a result of Joshua missing the deadline to accept the contract offer.
On December 3, 2022, it had seemed that the two British boxers would square off in Cardiff.
Joshua's camp made it known that they have agreed to all of Fury's terms.
Frank Warren, Fury's promoter, then declared that Joshua's team would soon receive the contract finalizing the fight.
Joshua announced on Sunday that he would sign the contract to face Fury after the WBC champion gave him until Monday at 5 p.m. to complete the paperwork or he would back out of the agreement.
And on Monday night, Fury returned to Instagram to claim that the signed contract had not been returned.
"Well, guys, it's official," Fury said. D-Day has already passed. No contract has been signed as of Monday evening at five o'clock.
For Joshua, it's effectively over now. Forget about it, he's out in the cold with the wolf pack now. Idiot. Coward!”
He added: “I always knew you didn’t have the minerals to fight the Gypsy King." Good luck with your career and your life. "
