The heroics of Vincent Aboubakar during the current FIFA World Cup in Qatar have been noted by French striker Antoine Griezmann.

On the biggest stage in football, Aboubakar's performance as a substitute was one of the best ever.

The Indomitable Lions were trailing Serbia, 3-1, and it looked like they were out of the tournament, but their 30-year-old captain ignited a comeback with a goal and an assist.

Cameroon was mathematically assured of a spot in the tournament when the game eventually ended in a three-all draw.

Griezmann, a member of the French team that won the 2018 World Cup, was one of many who praised Aboubakar for his cameo appearance.

The Atletico Madrid striker was particularly impressed by the celebration Aboubakar hit after his wonderful, chipped-over goal for Cameroon's second. The Al Nassr forward took the "Call Me" celebration, which was made popular by Griezmann.

Griezmann's celebration is a little bit different from Gabriel Jesus', who uses one hand, unlike the two hands of the former.

The Les Bleus striker will probably be rested when France takes on Tunisia in a dead rubber match for the defending champions, while Aboubakar will be hoping to lead his side to unprecedented glory against Brazil.
