Today Maria Sharapova has officially announced her retirement from the game of Tennis at the age of 32 years.

The American Tennis player that won a record breaking Wimbledon in 2004 at 17 years, 76 days old (3rd-youngest female winner in tournament history), said today that she will focus on her future in another interesting area of life.
During her career, a sum of $38.8M was collected by her as career prize money and this make her the 3rd-most in WTA history behind Serena Williams and Venus Williams.
