Todd Boehly, a co-owner of the team, has been urged by former Chelsea player Frank Leboeuf to make a stunning £100 million transfer offer for Kylian Mbappe in January.
Mbappe is a France international.
Boehly spent more than £250 million in total during Chelsea's first transfer window while he was in charge of it.
Such athletes as Raheem Sterling, Kalidou Koulibaly, Wesley Fofana, and Marc Cucurella were purchased by the American billionaire.
Leboeuf, however, wants Boehly to pursue the 23-year-old Paris Saint-Germain attacker who has recently been mentioned as a potential transfer target.
Leboeuf told FairBettingSites, "I thought there was nothing stopping Chelsea from going all out to try and bring him to Stamford Bridge when I heard Kylian Mbappe say he doesn't see his future at PSG."
If he wants to leave PSG, Todd Boehly could slap £100 million on the table and say “take it or leave it” because nobody else realistically is going to buy him.
“People say Real Madrid, but they have got Benzema up top and Vinicius Jr on the left and Rodrygo on the right. They are on fire, so I can’t see him going there right now. "
