The 2023 Africa U-17 Cup of Nations will be hosted by Algeria, while another North African country, Egypt, will host the U-20 competition.

The Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles have already qualified for both competitions.

The Olympic Eagles will battle Guinea for a place in the 2023 Africa U-23 Cup of Nations, hosted by Morocco.

Nigeria Professional Football League champions Rivers United are in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage.
