The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has announced the appointment of two Nigerian officials for the 2024 WAFU ‘B’ qualifiers.
Salisu Basheer is among the seven referees selected to officiate at the tournament, while Muhammad Yakubu will serve as an assistant referee.
The competition is set to take place in Ghana from May 15 to 29, 2024, with Nigeria, Ghana, Cote D’Ivoire, Benin, Niger, Togo, and Burkina Faso competing for the title.
Additionally, the tournament will double as qualifiers for the upcoming Africa U-17 Cup of Nations.
