Gary Lineker has singled out Chelsea forward Kai Havertz for praise after following the Blues’ UEFA Champions League 2-1 win over RB Salzburg on Tuesday night.

Havertz scored a goal as Chelsea defeated RB Salzburg at the Red Bull Arena Salzburg.

His teammate, Mateo Kovacic, also scored for Graham Potter’s side.

Chelsea are now on top of Group E with 10 points from five matches.

Reacting, Lineker, in a tweet via his Twitter handle, described Havertz’s goal as "gorgeous."

“Gorgeous goal from @kaihavertz29,” Lineker tweeted.

Havertz will now hope to continue his impressive display for Chelsea when they face Brighton in their next game on Saturday.
