Real Madrid's manager, Carlo Ancelotti, expects a tough encounter against Manchester City in the Champions League semi-final second leg on Wednesday night at the Santiago Bernabeu.
Ancelotti also voiced faith in Casemiro's ability to assist Real Madrid against Manchester City, stating that his return to the squad will boost their defensive capabilities.
This was stated during the Italian's pre-match press conference on Tuesday.
Ancelotti's squad travel to the game after losing 4-3 in the first leg last week at the Etihad Stadium against Pep Guardiola's side.
Ancelotti said, “He [Casemiro] will help us out and his return strengthens us defensively.”
He added, “I don’t think that history has any part to play. It will be a very different game, and every game is unique.
“They [Man City] have an advantage and we have to put in a better performance. It will be very tough, but we have got an incredible opportunity to reach another final. ”
