The Blues form has deteriorated since the appointment of Graham Potter in September 2022. However he has been dismissed within seven months into the five year contract he signed.

Julian Nagelsmann has been made the early favourite, with Mauricio Pochettino and Luis Enrique likely to be interviewed. Talks are likely to also be sought with representatives of Napoli’s Luciano Spalletti and at least one more candidate as Chelsea eye a successor for Graham Potter.
