In the third round of the Premier League, Leeds destroyed Chelsea.

After Mendy made a crucial error that resulted in Leeds scoring the first goal, Tomas Tuchel's team did not respond.

With goals from Rodrigo and Harrison, the Peacocks, who played with greater fervor than the Blues, were able to widen their lead.

In search of their second Premier League victory of the year, the Blues came up against a Leeds team that played with a high level of intensity and pressure, making it impossible for the Londoners to feel at ease throughout the entire game.

At Elland Road, the match got off to an intense start. It was challenging for Chelsea to advance the ball out of their half due to Leeds' intense pressing. But until the 32nd minute, neither team had any obvious chances to score.

Chelsea goalkeeper Mendy tried to dribble past Aaronson, but the United States player stole the ball from him and pushed it into the net to score the first goal of the game and give Leeds the lead.

After Mendy’s big mistake, the Blues failed to react, and four minutes later, Sterling fouled Roca on the edge of the box. Harrison crossed the ball to the near post, and Rodrigo headed it to the far post, beating Mendy.

In the second half, Chelsea tried to play with more intensity, but it was still not enough to turn the game around. Leeds managed to score the third and confirm the crushing victory.

Daniel James received the ball on the by-line and crossed the ball to the far post where Rodrigo headed it to Harrison at the far post. The Englishman pushed the ball into the net to score Leeds’ third goal.
