Chelsea have officially secured a five-year deal with Leicester City coach Enzo Maresca to become their new manager, following Mauricio Pochettino’s recent departure.

Renowned football transfer expert Fabrizio Romano broke the news, confirming the agreement via his X account on Tuesday. According to Romano, Maresca's contract with Chelsea will run until June 2029, with an option to extend until June 2030.
Romano tweeted, "Chelsea have agreed to appoint Enzo Maresca as new head coach, here we go! Understand the agreement is now done on contract valid until June 2029, five year deal. It will also include an option to extend until June 2030. #CFC, set to pay compensation fee to Leicester."
Chelsea will compensate Leicester City for Maresca's move, signaling a significant step in the club's new managerial direction.
