Ivan Perisic, a summer transfer target for Chelsea, is closing in on a move to Premier League rivals Tottenham Hotspur.
After guiding the Spurs to a top-four finish and deciding to stay for at least another season, Antonio Conte made Perisic one of his priority priorities.
According to The Independent, Perisic, who was a crucial member of Conte's title-winning Inter Milan squad in 2020-21, has decided to reconnect with the Italian coach, agreeing to terms on a two-year deal with Tottenham.
This summer, the 33-year-old has been linked with a move to Chelsea.
This summer, his contract with Inter expires, and he has yet to sign a new deal with the club.
The Croatia international joined Inter from Wolfsburg in 2015.
Perisic made more than 250 appearances for the Serie A giants and guided his country to reach the World Cup final in 2018.
As a result, Perisic has been in talks with Tottenham, Chelsea, and Juventus over a free transfer and is now set to sign for Conte’s men.
