The Federation of International Football Associations (FIFA) has ordered Egyptian club Smouha SC to pay Nigerian forward Junior Ajayi $70,000, the Daily Post reports.
Ajayi reported Smouha to the world’s soccer ruling body after he was abandoned by the club.
The versatile forward sustained an injury during a friendly against Canal Club in October 2022.
The 27-year-old claimed he was left unattended to by the club and is also being owed salary dues.
FIFA has given Smouha 15 days to pay Ajayi the sum of $70,000.
He joined the club last October after severing ties with Libyan outfit Al-Nasr Benghazi.
