The ongoing FIFA Under 20 Women's World Cup quarterfinal begins today after two days break.



The eight countries that remain in the tournament are: France, Germany, Spain, England, Nigeria, Japan, North Korea and Netherlands.

Today, the Super Falconet of Nigeria, that qualified narrowly for the quarterfinal stage after a 95 minutes own goal by a Chinese player in Nigeria match against China and made the match ended 1:1, will be battling with group C winner Spain for the semifinal spot in the tournament at 3:00pm Nigeria's time.

Also, the hosting country France will be facing North Korea by 6:00pm later today while England will hook up Netherlands on Friday by 3:00pm while Germany and Japan will be playing in the last quarterfinal fixture at 6:00pm on Friday.

Meanwhile, the Head coach of the Nigeria's team Christopher Danjuma has assured Nigerians that the team will not disappoint the country and stated that, there has been noticeable improvement in the coordination of the team on the pitch. And promise that the 2 times runner up will do well today to secure the semifinal spot.
