Nigeria's Flamingos defeated New Zealand 4-0 on Friday afternoon in Goa, bouncing back from their opening-day loss to Germany at the FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup.
After Esther Adesina's cross, Aminat Bello gave the Flamingos the lead after 17 minutes.
In the 34th minute, Nigeria's Miracle Usani doubled Nigeria's lead.
Usani scored his second goal of the match with it.
The Nigerian girls had several opportunities to extend their lead after that but failed to do so.
In order to keep the score more respectable, Feinberg-Danieli, the New Zealand goalkeeper, also made a few outstanding saves.
Afolabi Taiwo Tewogboola added the third 15 minutes from time after a VAR review.
Substitute Etim Edidiong scored her side’s fourth goal of the game with a delightful strike deep into stoppage time.
The Flamingos will face Chile in their final group game on Monday.
