Manchester United legend Gary Neville has hit out at Arsenal for relinquishing the Premier League's top spot to Manchester City on Wednesday.
Arsenal were beaten 3-1 by Manchester City at the Emirates, which helped Pep Guardiola’s side regain the top spot in the Premier League.
Goals from Kevin de Bruyne, Jack Grealish, and Erling Haaland ensured Manchester City defeated Arsenal, as Bukayo Saka’s goal was not enough for the hosts.
During the encounter, Arsenal’s performance regressed after halftime, and Neville, who has taken huge criticism from Arsenal supporters this season for his belief that Manchester City will win the Premier League title, criticised their second-half display at Emirates Stadium.
“So surprised how Arsenal have been second half!” Neville wrote on Twitter.
“It looks too much for them!" 20mins to show up!”
