Hakim Ziyech appears to be one of the several Chelsea players who are considering a move to the Saudi Pro League this summer, taking advantage of the league's attractive offers and its ambitions to establish a strong presence in international football.
As per reports from Ben Jacobs, Ziyech has reached a personal agreement with Al Nassr, a club that made Cristiano Ronaldo the highest-paid footballer in January.
While Ziyech's earnings might not reach the same astronomical heights, they are expected to be substantial, potentially compensating for the failed transfer to PSG during the previous window.
Negotiations are still in progress between Chelsea and Al Nassr regarding the transfer fee, but it is unlikely to pose a significant problem.
The Telegraph has reported that Chelsea could receive a total sum of "over £50m" from various transfers they might facilitate with the SPL.
These transfers include Ziyech, Édouard Mendy, Kalidou Koulibaly, and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. This amount seems reasonable and should dispel any suggestions of collusion between Chelsea's owners and the Saudi Public Investment Fund, which is providing financial support for the league's operations and high-value transfers.
