C of the Chinese league striker, Odion Ighalo has joined the league of the Super Eagles hat trick heroes.

In more than 65 years of Nigeria’s senior team existence, Ighalo became the 9th players who have scored three times against opposition.

Ighalo scored his first hat trick for the Super Eagles in the AFCON qualifier game against Libya in Uyo, Nigeria.

The 29-year-old joins hat trick heroes which include, Buraimoh Abudu, Paul Hamilton, Bobo Mordi, Thompson Usiyen, Segun Odegbami, Rasheed Yekini, Victor Ikpeba, Ikechukwu Uche and Nnamdi Oduamadi.

Nigeria defeated the Libyans 4-0 with Samuel Kalu scoring his first for the Super Eagles.
