Kelechi Iheanacho, a Nigerian international, has stated that three football icons, Ronaldinho, Sergio Aguero, and Jamie Vardy, have influenced his career.

Iheanacho stated that he enjoys watching them and that he has learned a lot from them.

This was stated by the Leicester City star on FIFA's official website before Nigeria's 2022 FIFA World Cup playoff match against Ghana on Friday night.

"I adored Ronaldinho as a kid," Iheanacho added.

"I admired his play style, confidence, and enthusiasm for the game. He dribbled, played, and passed his touches in a certain way. He is regarded as one of the best players of all time.

Iheanacho continued, "They [Sergio Aguero and Jamie Vardy] are two legends."

"It was an absolute delight to work with Kun. He's a legend, and I've learned a great deal from him. " Another legend is 'Vards." He's one of the best finishers you'll ever see, and he's taught me a lot. "
