It is another landmark for the East African country has another Kenya named Emmanuel Naibei won the 6th edition of the Access Bank Lagos City Marathon.



Naibei beat thousands of marathoners on Saturday morning to win the 42km race in 2 hours 11 minutes and 37 seconds and also claim the grand prize of $30,000.

It is instructive to note that the previous editions of the marathon has always been won by non-Nigerians.
