In their Ligue 1 match, Strasbourg held Lorient to a 1-1 draw as Nigerian forward Terem Moffi maintained his excellent goal scoring form.

Before Mouhamadou Diallo saved a point for Strasbourg three minutes from time, Moffi gave Lorient the lead after five minutes.

In 14 league appearances for Les Merlus so far this year, the 23-year-old has scored 10 goals.

The last five games Moffi has played for Lorient have seen him score four goals.

Regis Le Bris’ side are now winless in their last five league outings

The draw against Strasbourg leaves Lorient in fourth position with 28 points from 15 games.

Moffi is expected to be in action for Nigeria when they take on Portugal in a friendly next week on Thursday.
