According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Romelu Lukaku has no plans to go back to Chelsea once his loan with Inter Milan is over.
Only one year after his club-record £97.5 million transfer to Chelsea, Lukaku returned to the Serie A club on loan for the entire season.
After scoring just eight goals in the Premier League in 2021 and 2022, the Belgian striker and his former manager Thomas Tuchel had a falling out.
After Graham Potter took over for Tuchel, it had been anticipated that Lukaku might get another chance at Stamford Bridge.
It is now known that Lukaku still has no interest in joining the Blues again.
Because Inter lacks a purchase option, they will try to loan the 29-year-old player once more for the 2023–2024 campaign.
