Two days after Bournemouth, a newly promoted team, started the English Premier League with a winning record, Argentina defender Marcos Senesi signed with the club.
Senesi, 25, signed a four-year contract with Bournemouth, which did not, however, disclose the transfer fee it paid Feyenoord. The cost was listed as 15,000,000 euros ($15.3,000,000).
After assisting Feyenoord in reaching the Europa Conference League final, which the Dutch club ultimately lost to Roma, Senesi made his international debut for Argentina in a friendly match against Estonia in June.
Bournemouth are back in the Premier League after a two-year absence and started with a 2-0 home win against Aston Villa on Saturday.
