Enyimba head coach George Finidi has said he is not happy with the performance of his players in Saturday’s victory against Heartland.
The Peoples’ Elephant defeated the Naze Millionaires 1-0 to secure a berth in the finals of the Naija Super 8 tournament.
Murphy Ndukwu netted the winning goal in 25 minutes.
Finidi claimed his player’s display in the game was not good enough despite the win.
“We knew it would be difficult,” the former winger said after the game.
“I’m happy we won but not happy with the way we played, especially in the second half.
Overall, we had chances to score a second goal, but I am not happy about the play. We were lucky they didn’t get an equalizer.”
Enyimba and three other teams are already through to the Naija Super 8 tournament in Lagos.
The other teams include Remo Stars, Lobi Stars, and Gombe United.
