Chelsea forward Nicolas Jackson has issued a strong rebuttal to criticism from former Blues midfielder Mikel Obi, telling the ex-Chelsea star to "shut his mouth.

" The comments come after Mikel criticized Jackson for his performance against Manchester City last Sunday, where the Senegalese forward was accused of missing too many chances. Mikel went so far as to suggest that Chelsea should consider signing Victor Osimhen as a more reliable alternative.

Jackson responded emphatically on the pitch by scoring Chelsea’s opening goal in their 6-2 victory over Wolves, a goal that marked the club’s fastest Premier League strike since 2017. The goal was a clear statement, silencing critics and reaffirming Jackson's place in the team.

After the match, Jackson took to social media to directly address Mikel’s comments. "Mikel Obi, shut your mouth, don’t talk sh*t, we are killing ourselves for Africa," Jackson wrote on Instagram, making it clear that he took the criticism personally.
