Four managers have been nominated for the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Coach of the Month award for April.



The contenders include Fidelis Ilechukwu of Rangers, Gbenga Ogunbote of Shooting Stars, Mohammed Majin of Niger Tornadoes, and Stanley Eguma of Rivers United.

During April, Ilechukwu guided Rangers to three wins out of five matches, with his team scoring an impressive 10 goals. Meanwhile, Ogunbote led Shooting Stars to four victories in five matches, positioning them for a shot at continental competition.

Eguma's Rivers United secured three wins in four games under his leadership, demonstrating a strong bid for continental qualification. Additionally, Majin's strategic prowess helped Niger Tornadoes secure three wins out of six matches, lifting them out of the relegation zone.

The winner of this prestigious award will be determined by a panel of Nigerian football experts and announced on Friday, May 10, 2024.
