Remo Stars' coach, Daniel Ogunmodede, commended his players for their grit in securing a home victory against Bendel Insurance on Sunday.

After last week's loss to South West rivals, Shooting Stars, the Sky Blue Stars rebounded with a 2-0 win at the Remo Stars Stadium in Ikenne, propelling them to third place in the table.

With an outstanding game remaining, Remo Stars are only three points behind leaders Rangers and remain in contention for their first Nigeria Premier Football League title.

Ogunmodede shared his thoughts on the match against Insurance, emphasizing the importance of going for the three points in every game and praising his players for their resilience under pressure.

"Facing Insurance after our loss to 3SC was a challenge, but the players showed determination to bounce back. They handled the pressure well and secured a crucial win," Ogunmodede said in a post-match interview.
