Bay FC forward and Super Falcons' key player, Assist Oshoala, is set to join the national team camp just in time for the 2024 Olympic Games qualifier against South Africa's Banyana Banyana.
Oshoala is expected to arrive at the camp on Thursday, a day ahead of the crucial first leg match.
The Super Falcons have already commenced their preparations for the upcoming qualifiers, with head coach Randy Waldrum and some players, including Rasheedat Ajibade, Ashleigh Plumptre, Linda Jiwaku, and Jumoke Alani, already present in camp.
The highly anticipated qualifier will see the Super Falcons facing off against Banyana Banyana at the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja on Friday, followed by a rematch in Pretoria five days later.
The victorious team will secure a spot alongside Brazil, Japan, and Spain in Group C at the Olympic Games scheduled to take place in Paris in July and August.
