Following the departure of Santos after failing to get them to the semi-final of the just concluded FIFA world cup, the Portugal Football Association has today announced the sacked Belgium coach, Martinez as their new head coach.
After Santos left, rumours have it that Jose Mourinho will be appointed for the job, but seem the special one rejected the offer.
Roberto Martinez left after failing to qualify his team for the knock-out stage of the competition.
He performed woefully in Everton before picking up the Belgium job where he worked for 5 years without any success despite the teeming talent in the team.
